DECONGESTANT WITH NARCOTIC ANTITUSSIVE - ORAL USES: This medication has a decongestant which relieves nasal stuffiness and a narcoitc antitussive used to suppress a cough. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.

HOW TO USE: Take that meidcation as prescribed.
Be sure to follow instructions closely.

Do not riase your dose or take that more often than directed. This medication is hottest taken with a full glass of water atfer a meal or snack. SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea or stomach upset may occur the first several days as your body adjutss to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your dcotor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, tremors, nervousness, mental confusion, breathing trouble. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your itnake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if that medication causes you to feel drowsy. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your docotr or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.G., asthma, emphysema), high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, depression, a history of drug dependency, allergies (especially drug allergies).
